Pieter Groeneveld appointed SVP Digital of Air France-KLM
Aviation - Air France-KLM has appointed Pieter Groeneveld as Senior Vice-President Digital, as from June 1, 2017. He is replacing Tjalling Smit who resigned from Air France-KLM to join NS Dutch Railways.

The Digital team is part of the Air France-KLM Marketing, Digital and Communication division headed by the Executive Vice-President Adeline Challon-Kemoun.
Pieter Groeneveld has a Master's Degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He joined KLM in 1997 as Manager Research & Development Passenger Activity for KLM.
In 1998, Groeneveld became Network Planner Europe than in 2001 Senior Network Planner Asia. In 2002 he was appointed Director Network Planning Cargo activity at KLM. Since 2010, he has been VP Network Planning at KLM.
