United Airlines plans Joburg service from March 2021

United Airlines is planning to launch daily nonstop flights between Newark Liberty International Airport, New York and OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg.

United Airlines is also planning to resume service between Newark airport and Cape Town International Airport in spring 2021.

September 11, 2020: United Airlines is planning to launch daily nonstop flights between Newark Liberty International Airport, New York and OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg from March to May, 2021, as reported by ATC News. 

The new service will be the only nonstop service by a US carrier between the routes. United Airlines is also planning to resume its seasonal, three-times-weekly service between Newark airport and Cape Town International Airport in spring 2021.
