After 18 years, Ethiopian Airlines ready for take-off to Athens

After 18 years, Ethiopian Airlines will resume thrice weekly service to the city of Athens in Greece. It will be the Ethiopian’s 17th destination in Europe. Effective December 13, Ethiopian will start flying from Addis Ababa on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to Athens.

September 27, 2019: After 18 years, Ethiopian Airlines will resume thrice weekly service to the city of Athens in Greece. It will be the Ethiopian's 17th destination in Europe. Effective December 13, Ethiopian will start flying from Addis Ababa on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to Athens.

Ethiopian operates the youngest and most modern fleet to more than 120 international passenger and cargo destinations across five continents. Ethiopian fleet includes ultra-modern and environmental-friendly aircraft such as A350, B787-8, B787-9, B777-300ER, B777-200LR, B777-200F, and Bombardier Q-400.

Currently, Ethiopian serves Oslo, Stockholm, Moscow, Dublin, Manchester and London (England), Brussels, Paris and Marseille (France), Frankfurt, Vienna, Geneva, Milan and Rome (Italy), Istanbul and Madrid.
