Aug 17, 2018: Kenya Airways’ commercial director Vincent Coste has resigned from the airline with immediate effect. Coste joined the airline in 2016 from a previous position as senior vice president at Qatar Airways but has served prior to that for several years in senior positions at Air France-KLM.

Speculation is rife in Kenya’s aviation industry over the reasons of Conte’s departure with some pointing to the hitherto disappointing sales figures for the airline’s US flights which are due to be launched on the October 28 this year.

Conte made his last public appearance few days ago, while announcing the signing of an extensive codeshare deal with US carrier Delta, which is also part of the global SkyTeam alliance to which Kenya Airways belongs.
