Turkish Cargo flies maiden flight to Columbus
Turkish Cargo took its first flight to Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK) in Columbus, Ohio, one of the centers of airfreight industry around the world, with its A330 type wide body aircraft on May 10.

Columbus is considered as specialised in cargo industry with distributing important textile products, manufacturing operations that span industries from automotive and electronics to machinery, materials, aerospace, and consumer goods. Rickenbacker is one of the world’s only cargo-focused airports, moving airfreight between planes and trucks faster than any other global gateway. It is strategically located within a 10-hour drive of half the US and a third of Canadian populations, offering a regional geographic advantage.
