Swissport’s subsidiary opens executive terminal at Marrakech airport

February 06, 2020: Swissport Executive Aviation opened a new dedicated VIP terminal at Marrakech Menara Airport, Morocco, on February 1, 2020. The new facility offers a state-of-the-art infrastructure that make arrivals, stopovers, and departures convenient and hassle-free. Marrakech is Swissport's second facility of this kind in Morocco, after the Casablanca fixed-base operation (FBO), which opened in 2018. The VIP terminal includes a building from the Moroccan Airports Authority ONDA for police and customs
Swissport Executive Aviation is a subsidiary of Swissport International AG. In 2018, Swissport International provided ground services for around 282 million airline passengers and handled roughly 4.8 million tonnes of air freight in 115 cargo warehouses worldwide.
On more than 500 square metres, the facility offers relaxing lounge space for up to 40 passengers.

Swissport Executive Aviation was first launched as a business line at the Nice Cte d'Azur Airport, France, in 2001. Today, it handles over 24,000 flights per year at over 90 bases around the world.
