Qatar Airways adds fifth weekly service to Mombasa
Effective December 20, Qatar Airways will add a fifth flight between Doha and Mombasa, increasing the number of weekly flights from four to five.
October 21, 2019: Effective December 20, Qatar Airways will add a fifth flight between Doha and Mombasa, increasing the number of weekly flights from four to five.
The additional flight will remain in effect till the end of March 27, 2020, effectively covering the high season for the Kenya coast which runs from the Christmas and New Year period until Easter. A 132 seat A320 in a two-class configuration is deployed on the route to the Kenya coast.
The Middle East carrier operates three daily flights to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. With this new development, the airline will operate a total of 26 weekly flights between Doha and Kenya.
According to Business Daily Africa, “The increase in frequency will allow passengers to enjoy the wonders that this coastal city has to offer, and locals will have more opportunities to enjoy Qatar Airways’ extensive global network of more than 160 destinations,” said group chief executive Akbar Al Baker in a statement.
