February 26, 2021: Qantas is planning to restart regular passenger flights to Johannesburg in South Africa from October 31, instead of July 2021.
The airline plans to restart flights to most of its 25 pre-Covid-19 international destinations in October.
The airline has informed that the flight capacity will be lower than pre-Covid-19 levels, with frequencies and aircraft type deployed on each route in line with the projected recovery of international flying, as reported by ATC News.
