Jambojet to expand fleet with 4 Q400 aircraft in 2019
Despite setbacks in the past, Jambojet, Kenya Airways’ fully-owned subsidiary has kept its regional expansion as a priority in their agenda. There will an additional four Bombardier Q400 (now Viking Air Ltd) aircraft to join the current fleet of five such aircraft before the end of 2019.

There will an additional four Bombardier Q400 (now Viking Air Ltd) aircraft to join the current fleet of five such aircraft before the end of 2019.
Deliveries for the same have been slotted for July, August, September and November 2019.
Currently, it serves Entebbe, Uganda with two flights a day besides Jambojet's domestic destinations within Kenya. Two years ago, the airline has been granted additional routes air service license by the Kenyan CAA, permitting them subject to landing rights in the respective destinations to fly additional regional routes like Juba, Goma, Bujumbura, Kigali and Dar es Salaam, among others.
