May 31, 2019: EgyptAir will relaunch flight operations to Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire, with two flights per week starting from June 20. The two weekly flights to Abidjan via Accra, the capital and largest city of Ghana, will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The re-operation of flights to Abidjan coincides with the launch of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in June, said chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Ahmed Adel.
EgyptAir will be the official carrier of AFCON which will be held in Egypt from June 21 to July 19.
