DHL inks pact with Tanger Med for a new logistics hub
Facilitating a gateway for international markets to and from Europe, North and West Africa, DHL Global Forwarding has signed a deal with Tanger Med in Morocco to build a new logistics hub in the Tanger Med Logistical Zone. The operations are set to begin in May.
April 17, 2019: Facilitating a gateway for international markets to and from Europe, North and West Africa, DHL Global Forwarding has signed a deal with Tanger Med in Morocco to build a new logistics hub in the Tanger Med Logistical Zone. The operations are set to begin in May.
The 6,000 square metre hub aims to provide customers with ‘end-to-end’ solutions such as customs clearance, facilitation and supply chain management along with its air, sea and road freight services.
Christelle Fadel, GM Morocco of DHL Global Forwarding stated that the facility will support multi-modal connectivity, especially the maritime as well as road connections to Casablanca and the South.
