DB Schenker South Africa has been selected out of 22 of the largest international logistics service providers by Aerosud Aviation for its current and future logistics requirements.
Sep 24, 2018: DB Schenker South Africa has been selected out of 22 of the largest international logistics service providers by Aerosud Aviation for its current and future logistics requirements.
“DB Schenker has redesigned systems to provide more effective support for our corporate strategies, and has taken steps to ensure continued appraisal of opportunities over the long run.
They have provided our company with a distinct transport cost advantage over their chief competitor, which will enable us to compete in this international market.,” said Johan Steyn, MD, Aerosud Aviation.
“We have the opportunity to bring global best practice, from our worldwide aerospace logistics systems to South Africa in close cooperation with Aerosud,” said Denzil Nair, DB Schenker South Africa CEO.
Aerosud is the largest privately-owned aerospace manufacturing company in South Africa supplying components to the major aircraft original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Boeing and Airbus.
