May 13, 2020: Bollore Logistics Tanzania has launched air charter solutions between China and Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania from May 3 - 29.

As per the LinkedIn post of Koen Rombouts, managing director, Bollore Logistics South Africa the charters will operate in China from Pudong International Airport (Shanghai), Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (Henan), and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (Guangzhou).

He has announced that the transit will take less than 14 days with stopovers at Luxembourg, Paris, (France), Nairobi (Kenya), Liege (Belgium), and Lautzenhausen (Germany).

On May 7, Bollore Transport & Logistics launched a rail service for export cargo from Mombasa, Kenya to Uganda through the Naivasha inland container depot in order to reduce the spread of Covid-19. The first train loaded with 64 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of cargo.
