April 23, 2020: From April 10 to 12, Bollore Logistics Nigeria airfreight teams were mobilised to ensure swift clearance of essential cargoes arriving from Beijing, China at the Lagos airport. On board, 5 tonnes of sanitised hand gloves and 50 ventilators, for a total volume of 30 cubic metres, intended for public establishments (hospitals, clinics) as well as healthcare professionals in Abuja, Nigeria.

This operation, conducted on behalf of a humanitarian programme, was successfully carried out and at the earliest possible time to ensure on forwarding could take place to Abuja the cargo's destination.

To manage this mission, the Bollore Logistics teams in Lagos and Abuja worked in synergy with public authorities to ensure swift release of cargoes for prompt transfer to the destination in Abuja.
