Bahri ropes in Abdullah Aldubaikhi as new CEO
December 15, 2017: Global leader in transportation and logistics, Bhari has appointed Abdullah Aldubaikhi as the new chief executive officer, effective January 1, 2018. The new person will steer the next phase of the company's growth.
As per the a release from Bahri, Aldubaikhi will be responsible for setting and overseeing the implementation of Bahri's core strategic direction to further cement its global leadership position in the maritime industry, and lead expansion into new growth markets while seeking new revenue streams. He will also be at the helm of the Bahri's ongoing endeavors to integrate innovation into its business model.

Aldubaikhi's extensive experience across diverse sectors, deep understanding of the evolving business landscape, and strong leadership credentials make him a natural choice to achieve our long-term business goals and align our strategy with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives," said Abdulrahman M. Al-Mofadhi, chairman, Bahri.
Commenting on his appointment, Abdullah Aldubaikhi said, "My immediate priority will be charting short and long-term goals for Bahri while strengthening the company's commitment to the Saudi Vision 2030 and ensuring a positive impact on the continued growth of the global maritime sector through ambition and innovation."
A Saudi national, Aldubaikhi joins Bahri from Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC), where he served in the same role for six years. During his career spanning three decades, he has held various senior management roles at a number of firms including Afwaf Investment, Awalnet, and DowLog Technology Company, which he co-founded in 1993.
Aldubaikhi is a member of the joint business councils between Saudi Arabia and the nations of Canada, Russia and France, and sits on the board of directors of several local and global companies, including Bank Alkhair, Alessa Industries, Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co. WLL, G3 Global Grain Group (G3), and United Farmers Holding Company (UFHC).
He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford in the UK, and a BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia.
