March 17, 2021: Astral Aviation has taken off the inaugural flight from Sharjah to Eldoret, Kenya on its B767-200F leased from Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) recently. The flight carried 40,325 kilogrammes of consumer products for All Points Services Ltd (APSL) and Rolling Cargo.

Astral Aviation will operate a weekly scheduled B767-200F on this route which will increase to weekly twice from April.

The aircraft has 42 tonnes payload capacity.

On February 20, Astral’s maiden flight took off to Sharjah with 36 tonnes of perishables for UAE. The weekly-twice service expects to boost the Kenyan exports by carrying flowers, vegetables, and meat to the UAE.
