Astral Aviation begins Joburg service using B767F
Astral Aviation operated the inaugural flight to Johannesburg from Nairobi today.

The service will be operated using B767-200F twice a week.
Astral will offer capacity into Johannesburg with onward air connectivity to Lusaka, Harare and Maputo, in addition to over 20 destinations by road feeder service with its GSA Network Aviation Group.
Yesterday (March 25), a maiden flight from Sharjah - Djibouti en-route to Nairobi was operated on the same aircraft. On the same day, Astral transported 132,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines and syringes to Juba, South Sudan, for the UNICEF COVAX Facility via its Nairobi hub. The shipment was carried by Air India from Mumbai, India to Nairobi.
