Oct 23, 2018: Logistics specialist Tigers is working with Anthonij Rupert Wyne, based in Franschhoek, South Africa, by providing warehouse facilities and transporting their inventory direct from South Africa to Germany, and across certain states in the USA.

“Tigers is very supportive of the South African wine industry, and focuses on providing tailored distribution services for B2C and B2B fulfilment around the world. We currently handle the storage and fulfilment for Anthonij Rupert Wyne in Europe and the USA, and we aim to support the continued expansion of the brand throughout our global network of e-commerce facilities in the future,” said Andrew Jillings, chief executive officer and group managing director, Tigers.

Anthonij Rupert Wyne is a family-owned estate with state-of-the-art wine-making facilities and its ambition for global brand expansion, is being supported by Tigers.

“One of the main benefits of working with Tigers is having our wine stocked in the country where it is sold, meaning we can deliver wine to customers, via Tigers fulfilment, within two days of the order being processed,” said Gary Baumgarten, managing director, Anthonij Rupert Wyne.

“Our plan for the future of Anthonij Rupert Wyne is to increase our sales and grow our customer base in the USA and Europe, which is where our work with Tigers comes in as they provide innovative, out-of-the-box solutions.”

Tigers US is fully licensed by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) as a wine importer and wholesaler, which allows Tigers to import wine and to facilitate the sales and delivery to distributors in key states.
