A new Zambian national airline is in the offing with the support and financial participation of Ethiopian Airlines

Oct 05, 2018: Zambia and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has signed a new bilateral air services agreement (BASA), facilitating carriers from both the countries to launch flights, as and when the situation arises. The  agreement was inked during an aviation meeting in Riyadh earlier in the week, organised by ICAO and the Saudi General Authority on Civil Aviation.

Zambia’s tourism industry, but business at large, are keen to see more airlines fly into Lusaka to bring in more visitors, for leisure, trade and investment purposes.

A new Zambian national airline is in the offing with the support and financial participation of Ethiopian Airlines while presently, domestic and regional flights are served by Proflight, a Zambian privately owned airline.
