Swiss WorldCargo to continue existing African schedule till Oct end

Swiss WorldCargo is continuing to add new destinations to its network in the coming weeks.

July 01, 2020: Swiss WorldCargo is expanding its summer timetable until the end of October 2020. The air cargo division of SWISS is continuing to add new destinations to its network in the coming weeks.

In Africa and the Middle East, flights to Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam, Nairobi, Tel Aviv and Dubai (DXB) will continue as reported by the Logistics Update Africa on June 30.

In Asia, as of July 2020, Swiss WorldCargo will fly to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.

As per the International Air Transport Association (IATA) data for global air freight markets in May, African airlines posted the smallest contraction of any region in May, extending a run of resilient performance. The small Africa-Asia market was particularly resilient in May, down only 0.4 percent. International capacity decreased 37.7 percent.

Swiss WorldCargo will connect Switzerland to Canada once again with the launch of flights to Montreal, beginning July 14, 2020. In North America, flights to New York, Newark and Chicago will also continue. Flights to Miami and San Francisco will commence in August 2020, followed by Boston and Los Angeles in September 2020.

In South America, Swiss WorldCargo will continue flying to Sao Paolo and introduce flights to Punta Cana and San José beginning July 2020.

With the continued expansion of its capacity in the coming weeks and months, Swiss WorldCargo will be able to maintain vital logistical connections between Switzerland and the world.
