September 09, 2019: Effective September, Saudi Airlines Cargo (Saudia Cargo) has added extra freighter flights to Europe, the US, and Africa.
The second additional weekly freighter flight operates on Tuesday and Thursday to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York via Liege Airport (LGG), Belgium by a B747-400F aircraft. Meanwhile, its Nairobi-Europe service will be increased by four weekly flights to 11 per week. These flights are operated by a mix of B747Fs and B777Fs. In addition, the company added an additional flight to Khartoum International Airport, Sudan via a B777F.
In June, Saudia has launched new stations in Athens, Greece & Marrakesh, Morocco, in line with the company's strategy to enhance its global presence & improve its logistical capabilities in order to answer the growing demand for air cargo & ground handling services.
The national air freight carrier of Saudi, covers more than 900 destinations in more than 175 countries, through a dedicated state-of-the-art freighter fleet alongside the network of SkyTeam Cargo Alliance in addition to the belly capacity onboard Saudia passenger flights.
