June 20, 2020: Kenya Airways has postponed the relaunch of international passenger flights to September this year.
Earlier, Kenya Airways planned to resume passenger flights from June 8, transport cabinet secretary James Macharia has informed.
The airline has shut down passenger traffic on March 22 following government orders to close airports and halt passenger flights into the country.
Several repatriation flights have been operated since then with special permits by both the Kenyan and destination country governments.
The airline in its recently published annual report now suggests an operation relaunch in late Q3 of this year in which also a massive loss was reported.
