EgyptAir, Sudan Airways sign strategic partnership for trade
EgyptAir and Sudan Airways sign strategic partnership to enhance opportunities for trade exchange, support bilateral relations between the two countries.
April 22, 2021: EgyptAir and Sudan Airways sign strategic partnership to enhance opportunities for trade exchange, support bilateral relations between the two countries and transfer of Egyptian expertise to the Sudanese side, especially in the field of civil aviation.
The MoU includes the Egyptian aviation training of Sudanese Airliner’s personnel in the fields of aircraft piloting and inflight cabin crew training, as well as participating in modernising the Sudan Airways fleet of aircraft, managing networks planning, developing maintenance and overhauling activities, as per African Aerospace.
Technical accreditations, including ISO and TSO certification, in addition to cooperation in the field of cargo, and discussing other future cooperation aspects, in a way that contributes to increasing the economic growth rates of the two national companies.
