Angola is expected to post economic growth of 2.9 percent in 2019
Jan 16, 2019: Angola is expected to post economic growth of 2.9 percent in 2019, up 0.7 percentage points from the June 2018 forecast, reveals the World Bank.
The World Bank’s Global Economic Prospects report projects that the Angolan economy will have contracted by 1.8 percent last year but by 2020 it expects that Angola will see economic growth of 2.8 percent.
Angola currently ranks 173rd out of 190 countries on the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index.
