Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta robots join Turkish Cargo
Turkish Cargo has made live the software robots, namely "Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta" to reduce the error rate at its business processes
September 24, 2020: Turkish Cargo has made live the software robots, namely "Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta" to reduce the error rate at its business processes as well as the costs while improving the employee productivity and the speed of operation and saving time.
At the initial phase of the robotic workforce, integrated into the air cargo processes, Bravo will be in charge of the spot rate approvals, and Charlie will be in charge of checking the mail rate, designations and duplications thereof, and Delta will be in charge of the cargo booking. Whereas Alpha will enable the harmonic functioning of the other robots with each other.
Turkish Cargo will have the capacity to carry 4 million tonnes of cargo on yearly basis by making use of the state-of-the-art technology at the business processes it will carry out at SmartIST, its digitally equipped facility being constructed at the Istanbul Airport. SmartIST is being designed to be dominated by the industry 4.0, artificial intelligence technologies and digitalised processes.
