Air Tanzania to launch Johannesburg service from June 28
Effective June 28, Air Tanzania will be launching flights to Johannesburg.
June 24, 2019: Effective June 28, Air Tanzania will be launching flights to Johannesburg. The service will be catered four times a week every Friday, Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, initially using B787. At a later stage, it will be operated by A220.
Connectivity to Johannesburg is reportedly assured for connecting flights from Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, and Mwanza as are onward connections for the Johannesburg to Dar es Salaam service.
Later this year, Air Tanzania will be building up a feeder flight network launching services to China.
