ACSA appoints Fundi Sithebe as chief operating officer
Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has appointed Fundi Sithebe as the chief operating officer effective 1 December 2017.
November 27, 2017: Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has appointed Fundi Sithebe as the chief operating officer effective 1 December 2017.
The 38-year-old Sithebe is currently the chief of staff reporting to ACSA CEO, Bongani Maseko.
Said Maseko: “Fundi has a wealth of experience which includes companies such as Deloitte Consulting and FirstRand/FNB Africa. She brings valuable capabilities in strategy formulation and implementation, research and analysis, project management and due diligence. Fundi played a significant role as the protocol lead during the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup. Airports Company South Africa is proud to appoint Ms Sithebe in this role which is pivotal in achieving our 2025 strategy," said Maseko.
Sithebe says she will endeavour to create a sustainable legacy for the Company and South Africa. “I have been with the company for several years and I am privileged to be working with supportive and experienced colleagues and I believe that working together we will achieve the Company’s strategic goals." she said.
Sithebe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Midrand University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Business Administration) from Wits Business School.
