Air Cargo Africa STAT Times organized the first ever AIR CARGO AFRICA 2011, a platform for the global players to establish their business in this vast and untapped virgin continent.
The event, themed `Air Cargo in Emerging Africa was scheduled from the February 22nd to 24th, 2011 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi, Kenya. 54 exhibitors representing various sectors of the Air Cargo industry from 25 countries displayed their world class products and services, specifically designed for the air transport industry.
270 delegates from across the globe including Russia, China, USA, Europe, India, Australia, Canada, Singapore, and 12 countries from Africa took part in the deliberations stretched over the three days. 2,429 visitors from 23 countries across Africa and 19 countries from other continents visited the exhibition to explore business prospects. Middle Eastern representatives were conspicuous by the presence of delegates from Qatar Airways Cargo, Saudi Airlines Cargo, Etihad Crystal Cargo and National Air Cargo.
The 2nd AIR CARGO AFRICA 2013 will be held in South Africa, at the Emperor’s Palace, Johannesburg.
